Outside Sales & Marketing Representative, Southern California (Contract)

Responsibilities:
  • Implement vigorous market strategies & active action plan for the Company’s products & services;
  • Enhance sales opportunities & client loyalty with the pre-existing accounts;
  • Build relationships with new & potential clients, including leading glass & glazers, architects and general contractors;
  • Strategically position the Company with all targeted accounts;
  • Maintain territory-specific information with regards to competitors & distributors;
  • Maximize promotion and sales activities via presentation, proposals, new leads & referrals and field activities;
  • Identify and resolve client concerns & issues;
  • Report marketing & sales activities, closings, follow-ups and updates to the Management Team;
  • Co-ordinate project completion with the Management Team; and
  • Others duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Desire to be a self-directed successful outside sales representative with an energetic enthusiastic go-getter attitude;
  • Excellent communication, creativity, organizational & interpersonal skills and dedication to superior client service;
  • Ability to plan, develop & manage sales growth and costs;
  • Proven sales & take-off experience via presentation, proposal, negotiation and closing;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the architectural construction & building material industry;
  • A degree and/or a strong background in marketing, business, architecture or engineering; and
  • Ability and desire to travel up to 75%.
