Duties & Responsibilities:
- Competently operating a high performing CNC laser & punch cutting equipment to fabricate various sheet metal parts to specifications
- Stage correct raw materials on the loader for automated maximum PULSAR performance
- Monitor laser-cutting & punching and adjust raw materials as needed
- Maintain PULSAR NT2415 by performing a tape shot, focusing the lens, cleaning the lens, cleaning nozzles, and replacing lens, nozzles, tips, and other supplies as needed
- Empty duct collection bins according to the Company’s preventive repair & maintenance schedule
- Meet the Company standards in safety, productivity, and on-time performance
- Record machine code errors and communicate glitches & performance issues to AP100 Programmer
- Assist other fabricators by working as a team to upload, unload and inspect completed parts
- Using inspection devices e.g. calipers, pin gauges, check fixtures to inspect finished parts, true to fabrication drawings and blueprints
- Read fabrication drawings, blueprints and CNC codes to fully grasp tolerances, geometry, material thickness, traveller and special instructions
- Report MSDS, progress and/or errors to Production Manager
- Wear proper protective equipment & gear such as a respiratory mask, goggles and others, as directed
- Understand safety requirements on the production floor and comply with all Company policies
- Accurately record project information, size & quantities and final inspection prior to shipment
- Attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, just in time fabrication environment
- Excellent knowledge of raw materials, production procedures and quality control for maximum productivity & efficiency
- Be a team player
- Excellent communications in speaking, writing & active listening
- A cross-functional role and thus other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Forklift and additional fabrication experiences a plus
Education & Certification Requirements:
- High School Diploma/ GED equivalent required
- Degree or Certification preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years experience as Laser Operator in a sheet metals fabrication environment.
Hours of Operation: Monday ~ Thursday, 06:00-16:30
Hourly Rate: DOE
Start Date: TBD
