Experienced Press Brake Operator (5+ Years Experience)

Machines:

  • AMADA HFEM 2/2204
  • AFM Press Brake

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate x2 press breaks or punch for routine established work. 2. Select correct tooling for the job task with setup documents or supervisor/lead assistance. 3. Load, install and correctly set up the tools required with some assistance from supervisor/lead. 4. Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations
  • Be able to set up & operate Brake Press machines
  • Read fabrication drawings & blueprints, select correct materials & tooling for different gauge materials and parts, form exact quantity & size to various sheet metal parts specifications and package end-products for shipment
  • Generate multiple step programs as required using depth and angle mode
  • Use various fabrication tools including tape measure to complete projects
  • Excellent mathematics & working knowledge of acute obtuse angles as to accurately generate multiple step programmes as required depth and angle mode
  • Attention to detail and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, just in time fabrication environment
  • Excellent knowledge of raw materials, production procedures and quality control for maximum productivity & efficiency
  • Be a team player
  • Excellent communications in speaking, writing & active listening
  • A cross-functional role and thus other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Forklift and additional fabrication experiences a plus

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/ GED equivalent required
  • Degree or Certification preferred

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum +5 years experience as Press Brake Operator in a sheet metals fabrication environment.

Hours of Operation: Monday ~ Thursday, 06:00-16:30

Hourly Rate: DOE
Start Date: TBD

Form of Employment: Contract to Direct Hire (to be considered)
